Raven Speaks and Prairie Structured

The Humboldt & District Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of two exhibits, Raven Speaks by Rolf Krohn and David Macknak and Prairie Structured by the Four Monkeys on January 12, 2023.

Raven Speaks features acrylic artwork by Rolf Krohn with poetry by David Macknak. This exhibit explores the many facets of the Raven and its appearance in a variety of cultures.

Prairie Structured focuses on the exploration of Saskatchewan landscapes, and buildings. This exhibit features a range of mediums such as ink, acrylic, watercolour and alcohol ink. The Four Monkeys are a group of artists who come together to challenge, learn, and grow from each other. The Four Monkeys consists of Olivia Maney, Annchen Bodenstab, Ui Hyang Kim, and Joanne Fagnou Bolen.

The Gallery is hosting an opening reception to meet the artists and discover more about their works on Saturday, January 14, from 1:00 – 3:00pm.  The artist talk starts at 1:30pm.

Raven Speaks and Prairie Structured will be on display until February 24, 2023.
