Message of Condolence from Perry Bellegarde, National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations
Sent by National Chief Perry Bellegarde on behalf of the Assembly of First Nations to Mayor Muench, this letter expresses his condolences to the community of Humboldt and the Broncos hockey family. In his letter he wrote that “In our culture, when our loved ones leave this world they become the star people, the ones who shine above and look over us. We know that all those who lost their lives will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved them, and in the consciousness of millions of people who came to know the Broncos and the people of Humboldt.” B-166
