The latest installment of our exhibit series “Stories of Humboldt” features two stories: Angelstad’s Quick Cobbler Shoe Repair, a business that served Humboldt for over 45 years, and the RCAF No. 5 Bombing & Gunnery School at Dafoe that trained 131, 500 airmen during WWII.
This exhibit is the continuation of the conversation with the community about these and other stories, and we encourage everyone to come out and be a part of it.
We would like to thank the Watson Museum for contributing research materials, photographs and artifacts to this exhibit, and the Angelstad family for sharing their family history and photographs.
