The intangible, mystery, the infinite and poetry are not often associated with the modernist streams of painting.  Both artists have been honing their craft by continuously painting and gathering feedback from exhibitions over the last forty years.  Relationships between composition, color, tonal progressions and marks are therefore rigorously developed.
