Animals in Winter

Humboldt & District Museum

Have you ever wondered how some of the animals who live around here survive the winter? What do they eat? How do they stay warm? Do some of them just sleep through it or leave entirely?

Learn about different local species and how they adapt or migrate to survive the cold Canadian winter! During your visit, you’ll get close to a variety of native Saskatchewan animals, test your knowledge in an animal observations activity, survive the winter wilderness in our new board game, and make unique animal-inspired crafts and colouring pages! This exhibit also has an accompanying educational program that’s free for all educators!

For more information or to book your class, call (306) 682-5226 or email info@humboldtmuseum.ca.
