In Prints Made by the Sun, the cyanotype printing workshop with Ann Poggemiller, participants will learn the process of using chemically coated paper, botanicals and sunlight to create cyan-blue prints that are each completely unique. This workshop is BYOB- Bring Your Own Botanicals! Participants are encouraged to bring a collection of plants to use to make patterns in their cyanotype projects. All other supplies will be provided.

Ann Poggemiller uses the rural setting of her home in Tisdale, SK, as inspiration for her exploration of ‘plein air’ watercolour painting and cyanotype printing. Cyanotype offers her the opportunity to use different leaves, flowers and other botanicals from her garden in her prints.
