Come out to Original Humboldt for a free, guided walking tour of this unique historic site. The metal art installations explore historical topics such as the Carlton Trail, Red River Carts, Treaty 6, the Dominion Telegraph Line, and the 1885 Resistance.

Explore the land with us while we recount the site’s incredible history. Remember to wear your walking shoes and dress for the weather. 

Meet at the carpark. Original Humboldt is located 11 km southwest of Humboldt. Drive 8 km west on Hwy 5 and turn south onto Telegraph Rd. for 3 km. Look for the flagpoles!
