Guided Walking Tours at Original Humboldt

June 20 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Friday, June 21 is recognized as National Indigenous Peoples Day in Canada to encourage us all to learn more about the rich Indigenous history of this land. Come out to Original Humboldt the evening before, on Thursday, June 20, to learn a little about the pre-settlement history of our region. Original Humboldt is a historical site that teaches us about many overlapping histories, including the Carlton Trail, the Dominion Telegraph line, the 1885 North-West Resistance, and Chief Whitecap and the Dakota Nation.

Free, drop-in public tours between 6pm and 8pm. The last tour will begin at 8pm. Original Humboldt is located 8km west of Humboldt on highway 5; turn south onto Telegraph Road.
