Granny Willow Hoop Dance & Cultural Teaching

Granny Willow shares the beautiful teachings of the Hoop Dance, an Indigenous storytelling tradition where hoops are used to create shapes representing the Circle of Life. Through movement, storytelling, and cultural teachings, participants learn how all living things are connected. The hoops transform into animals, symbols of nature, and stories that help us understand our place in the world. Young people are invited to pick up some hoops and learn how to create some of the animals and shapes themselves.
