From Awareness to Action

March 18 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

The Humboldt & District Gallery is pleased to partner with Prairie Central in welcoming Malvina Rapko and Zane Arnott for From Awareness to Action: Moving Beyond Tokenism in Cultural Engagement on Wednesday, March 18 from 10:00am to 11:00am, as part of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

Intercultural communities thrive on meaningful inclusion. This conversation offers practical tools to move beyond tokenism and avoid cultural appropriation, supporting respectful, authentic cultural engagement rooted in appreciation and relationship-building. The event is free and everyone is encouraged to attend.

This talk will be presented online via Zoom at the Gallery with a questioning period afterwards. If you wish to participate, but cannot make it to the Gallery, then please register with Prairie Central before March 17. For registration or information regarding the conversation, contact Aileen Martin at (306) 726-2087 or aileen@prairiecentral.ca.
